Passage Nav is published by Passage Navigation LLC, a Texas limited liability company. You can reach us at [email protected].
We collect no personal information for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes. If you make an in-app purchase, limited transaction data is processed by RevenueCat on our behalf as described in Third-Party Services below. Passage Nav does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any identifying information to use the app.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
— (i) Whether you have accepted the End User License Agreement (stored in device memory via AsyncStorage)
— (ii) Your last selected sailing region and speed preference (stored in device memory for convenience)
— (iii) Downloaded map tiles for offline use (stored in device storage); and
— (iv) Your purchase entitlement status — whether you have purchased optional content packs, and which packs you own. This data is stored locally on your device and is also maintained by RevenueCat, Inc. on its servers solely for purchase verification purposes.
The data described in items (i) through (iii) above is stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to any server and is not accessible to Passage Navigation LLC or any third party. The purchase entitlement data described in item (iv) is transmitted to RevenueCat's servers as described in Third-Party Services below.
Passage Nav does not collect, process, or transmit:
— Your name, email address, or any contact information
— Your location or GPS coordinates
— Usage analytics or behavioral data
— Device identifiers or advertising IDs
— Crash reports or diagnostic data
— Your payment card, banking, or billing information. In-app purchases are processed by Apple; Passage Navigation LLC does not receive your payment details.
Mapbox. Passage Nav uses Mapbox to render map tiles. When using the app with an active internet connection, your device may request map tiles directly from Mapbox's servers. These requests may include your IP address and the map area being viewed, which is standard behavior for any mapping application. Once a region is downloaded for offline use, no further requests are made to Mapbox for that region. Mapbox's privacy policy is available at mapbox.com/legal/privacy.
Apple App Store. If you purchased Passage Nav through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard purchase and download processes apply. Apple's privacy policy governs that data. Passage Navigation LLC receives only the aggregated sales data Apple provides to all developers — no individual purchaser information.
RevenueCat. Passage Nav uses RevenueCat, Inc. to process in-app purchases and verify purchase entitlements. When you make an in-app purchase, your device transmits transaction data — including an Apple purchase receipt, an anonymous device identifier assigned by RevenueCat, and the identifier of the product purchased — to RevenueCat's servers. RevenueCat uses this data solely to verify your purchase and maintain your entitlement to purchased content. RevenueCat does not use this data for advertising or tracking. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Passage Nav contains no advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, social media integrations, or other third-party tracking tools. In-app purchases are processed using RevenueCat's SDK, which is used solely for purchase verification and is not used for advertising or analytics.
Passage Nav does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. We do not collect personal data for analytics or advertising, and in-app purchases by children are subject to Apple's parental controls. Passage Navigation LLC does not receive any personal information about child purchasers.
Passage Nav collects no personal data for analytics, advertising, or tracking. When you make an in-app purchase, limited transaction data is transmitted to RevenueCat's servers, which are secured in accordance with RevenueCat's own security practices. No payment card or billing information is transmitted to or stored by Passage Navigation LLC. Data stored locally on your device is subject to your device's own security protections.
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users through the App Store update notes. We will never introduce analytics, advertising, or tracking data collection. If we add features that require data processing by third parties — such as the RevenueCat purchase processing described above — we will disclose those services in this policy and notify users through App Store update notes. Passage Nav will always be a tool that works for you, not for advertisers.
